Great summary! Re your "deeply moved" comment...sharing that during the first break I was in the elevator with 2 drs. Both of them shared they had already shed tears. A nurse also in the elevator offered they were already overwhelmed. It was refreshingly transparent, in this, as Dr Marik states, "his family".
I have a feeling I didn't meet you at the conference....perhaps next time. Looking forward to reading your future summaries.
Thank you, Sam. I encourage you to continue to learn as much as you can. There are technical issues, especially the mechanisms themselves, that can be a bit intimidating. Trust me, although I have put in hundreds of hours over the past 3+ years to learn all that I can, there were many things completely new to me. As I continue to summarize other presentations, there will be some specific information concerning general principles (and approaches) to treatment that each person can consider whether or not to apply to themselves.
In my clinical practice, I have had patients frequently ask "what about XXX" which they heard or read about. I may not know anything about it, and will tell them so, AND ask them to bring me specific references or sources. I encourage them to read & become experts in any area that may impact their lives. We can learn these things together, and it makes my job so much easier when my patients will take ownership of their health!
I confess that writing takes 3-4x longer than I anticipate, and I have so many ideas sketched out that I wish to share. One element that came up more than once in the conference is NIR (near infrared) light & sauna therapy. During a webinar that Dr. Marik did with Dr. Mercola some months ago concerning NIR saunas, Dr Mercola suggested a company that had a 'kit' & alluded to the price being reasonable (or words to that effect). When I found that it was $3500 I was stunned and then worked out a DIY approach for perhaps $200. I have recently been building a second one (different structure & cover this time) and have been taking photos along the way. I will be writing about this, and also providing references of research into the health benefits of saunas, and even providing a materials list. Stay tuned, no medical expertise required!
Thanks for summarizing; I didn’t take notes both because I knew that the recordings slides were coming but also because it was/is overwhelming
It was and is moving, the information horrifying, but being amongst like minded people, motivating & energizing

Not a doctor but fascinated with the information.
